This brand-new modern musical mixes a parody of corporate life with an adventure in space. Are humans perhaps the most alien beings of all? The Truman Show meets The Office and The Apprentice on Planet Billabop, packed with songs and fun!
The head of the universe plants the Professor’s human robot Ruth as HR manager of Ubertech, the world’s leading provider of space and travel technology. This way planet Billabop has an insight into life on earth to understand if it is a threat. But due to a programming error, a string of mishaps results in the Professor being held captive by aliens.
Meanwhile Ruth’s domination of earth is spiralling out of control and she must be stopped. But it appears everyone has lost control of everything. So Stanley, Ruth’s househusband, leads a rescue party to planet Billabop in the Professor’s shuttle to rescue the Professor and find his missing wife…
Can they rescue the Professor? Can they humanise ruthless Ruth? Can Stanley succeed as the Suburban Spaceman?
By arrangement with Class Stage Productions Ltd.
