Safeguarding Policy
Network Theatre Company
Network Theatre Company is a volunteer-led company for anyone over the age of 18. As an organisation for and run by adults we do, however, acknowledge that all members will be covered by this safeguarding policy.
Every person has value and deserves to be treated with dignity. This implies a duty to value all people and to protect them from harm.
At Network Theatre we are committed to ensuring that our Company is a safe place for everyone. We take the safeguarding and care of our members very seriously. We are committed to:
- nurturing, protecting and safeguarding all our members, particularly vulnerable adults.
- recognising that safeguarding is the responsibility of the whole Company.
- undertaking to exercise proper care in the training and support of those working in voluntary positions with our members, particularly if they are vulnerable adults.
- responding without delay to concerns or allegations that anyone may have been harmed, cooperating with the police and social care services in any investigation.
- challenging any abuse of power by anyone in a position of trust.
- seeking to offer care and support to anyone who has suffered abuse.
- seeking to offer support, including referral to the proper authorities, to any member of our community known to have offended against any Company member.
- If you have any safeguarding concerns please contact one of the Officers on:
