The Provok’d Wife

In swinging London Lady Brute is provoked to infidelity by her husband. Moscow, 1938. A dangerous place to have a sense of humour; even more so a sense of freedom. Mikhail Bulgakov, living among dissidents, stalked by secret police, has both. And then he’s offered a poisoned chalice: a commission to write a play about Stalin to celebrate his sixtieth birthday. Inspired by historical fact, Collaborators embarks on a surreal journey into the fevered imagination of the writer as he loses himself in a macabre and disturbingly funny relationship with the omnipotent subject of his drama. 21st–24th Jun

A Celebration Of Nigel Williams

Nigel was much loved and admired by all those at Network and he will be remembered by many as a gentleman and a true friend. He regarded Network as a second family and his contributions to the Theatre as an actor, director and Chairman were without measure. He will be much missed. There will be a celebration of Nigel’s life at Network Theatre on Saturday 20 May 2017.
